Learn how to make a beautiful, colorful and unique flower from wet felted fiber. Wet felting is the process of interlocking wool and other animal fibers to form a dense fabric known as felt. The wet felting process involves agitating fiber with soap and warm water to create a strong fabric. Wet felting is a fun art technique using natural materials to create something beautiful and unique.
Participants will go home with one handmade flower made from wool fibers and a stem. Materials included. A variety of colors will be available to choose from.
Please be advised that needle felting requires the use of very sharp needles & manual dexterity. A caregiver must accompany any youth under 12.
